Terms of sale and licence

This is a starting template. Have it checked before you switch on payments.

1. Who we are

The software is sold by AQI Electrical Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”).

2. The licence

When you pay, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software for your own business, for the number of devices or computers you've paid for. You may not resell, share or reverse-engineer the software, or remove its licence checks.

3. Buying outright and subscriptions

A licence bought outright does not expire. A yearly subscription runs for 12 months from payment and renews automatically each year until you cancel. If you cancel, the licence runs until the end of the year you've paid for.

4. Delivery

Licence keys are delivered by e-mail to the address you give at checkout. Lost keys are only re-sent to that registered address.

5. Your data

The software stores your data on your own computers. You are responsible for backing it up; the software includes tools to do so.

6. Cancellation and refunds

As digital content supplied immediately, you agree that the 14-day cancellation right ends once your licence key has been delivered. If the software is faulty and we can't fix it, we'll refund you. This does not affect your statutory rights.

7. Liability

The software helps you produce records and certificates; you remain responsible for the work they describe and for checking them before you sign. Our liability is limited to the price you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
